Ginkgomed 3D Anatomy Software

This is the first 3D anatomical software using real human dissected specimens in the world. It can be used with a window-base PC or notebook for professor’s teaching preparation or personal study. It also can be used with smart board or smart TV for anatomical lectures in the class, and even used as a dissection guide for a big group of students in the anatomy laboratory.

It is designed on the 3D presentation of more than 300 real human specimens, which are enough for learning key structures of the entire human body. These specimens are well-dissected and preserved in a good condition for creating 3D visualization. They are categorized into six body regions:

1. HEAD AND NECK;
2. TORSO AND BACK;
3. THORAX;
4. PECTORAL GIRDLE AND UPPER LIMB;
5. ABDOMEN AND PELVIS;
6. PELVIC GIRDLE AND LOWER LIMB.

Instruction For Intravenous Model

This a hand mode mad from synthetic material, designed for practicing intravenous injection andnenous puncture. The students can also rehearse how to prepare intravenous drugs and fluid,aseptic techniques, disposal of used needles and syringes, etc.

How to use:

1. connect the holder stand and the hand model with asuitable tube.
2. fill holder the stand with simulated blood ( red water )
3. Remove the air inside the vein by an empty syringe if needed.
4. The vein is now visible and can be palpated easily.
5. The following procedures can be practice:
   • • ˙ Disinfection and other aseptic techniques if needed.
     • ˙ Intravenous puncture and blood drawing.
     • ˙ Intravenous drug administration.
     • ˙ Adequate management of used needles and syringes.

Urethral Catheterization

The model is used for practicing the procedure of urethral catheterization.

How to use:

1. a. Prepare a catheterization set, a 16 - 18 Fr.
• b. Mount the model onto a stand.
2. Disinfecting and draping the field.
3. Check the catheter balloon by injecting a few ml of water.
4. a. Apply sufficient water soluble lubricant to the catheter.
• b. Insert the catheter until the tip of the catheter is completely inside the urinary bladder.
• c. Inflate the balloon of the catheter with 5 – 10 cc of water.

Wound Suture

This product is used to simulate human skin for the purpose of training surgical suture, including laparoscopic suture.Besides, aseptic techniques and stitch removal can also be practiced.

How to use:

1. Make a wound by a scalpel. The wound can be a simple linear wound, or an irregular wound, or any wound you want.
2. Place the skin on a holder stand.
3. Aseptic techniques may be practiced depend on requirements.
4. Suture of the wound using various techniques, such as interrupted or Continuous, locked or unlocked, vertical or horizontal mattress, Subcuticular, figure sight suture etc.
5. Remove the stitches.

Intestinal anastomosis

The intestine model is made of synthetic material, And is used for practicing intestinal anastomosis, either in open or in laparoscopic ways.This material is soft and elastic, resemble to the intestinal tissue. The thickness of the intestine allows double layer suture.

How to use:

1. The intestine model can be divided into two halves.
2. The two halves are mounted onto a multipurpose holding stand.The two edges of the intestine can be anchored by two stitches to the stand.
3. Carry out the anastomosis.Double layer anastomosis can be performed because of sufficient the thickness of the intestinal wall.

Instruction for foreskin replacement of the circumcision model

How to use:

1. Prepare a circumcision model and a piece of foreskin replacement.
2. Mount one end of the foreskin onto the circumcision model.
3. Furl and mount the other end of the foreskin.
4. Mount the model into the holder stand, and prepare to perform circumcision.
